Face to face mental capacity assessments are always going to be best practice. However, in those instances where this is not feasible, we offer a safe, secure and professional assessment and consultation via our integrated telehealth service.
What is Telehealth
Telehealth software systems allow us to care for you through live video assessments.
This means we can assess anyone from anywhere—meaning we aren't limited by location, time zones, or travel restrictions.
With many people being self-isolating or at high risk of the Covid-19 disease, we can still continue to help safely and securely.
All you need is a mobile phone, computer or tablet.
How Does Our System Work?
You can book an appointment by phone or by using Nellies online booking system.
You'll get a confirmation email with a link that lets you easily jump into the call. That way, when your appointment time arrives, all you need to do is follow the link, and you'll be whisked away to the virtual assessment room where our assessor will join you.
No login or password is required—just one click and you're in!
It really is that easy.
How Secure is Telehealth?
Our system is integrated into our Patient Management System. We don't rely upon third-party systems such as Skype or Zoom, so you can rest assured our system is safe and professional.
All video calls are secured with end-to-end encryption and meet the same strict privacy and security standards as our regular services. You can rest easy knowing your assessments are kept between just you and us.
Nellie Supports keeps your records safe. All of our data collection systems are designed to meet the data protection regulations of GDPR, Australian Privacy Principles, and HIPAA. (Just to make sure we covered everything!)
