Little Nellie's pricing, simple, clear support

Too many EHCP and SEND services are priced in pieces, with one fee for completing a SEND35, another for tribunal preparation, and another for attendance at the hearing itself. We think that model often creates unnecessary confusion and hidden cost. If you are completing a SEND35, you are already in the tribunal process, so it makes little sense to separate out the essential stages of support as though they are optional extras.

Families need continuity, strategy and proper representation across the whole case, not a series of bolt-on charges that grow as the case progresses. That is why Little Nellies does not work on a piecemeal basis. Our services are structured to cover the full process, with clear scope and transparent pricing, so families know they have the support they need from the outset without worrying that every next step will bring another unexpected fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Some services have fixed prices where the scope is clear. Other services may need a bespoke quote if the case involves significant records, multiple decisions, urgency, family dispute, safeguarding concerns, professional meetings or complex reporting requirements.

  • No. VAT is not included unless expressly stated. VAT will be added to the relevant service price and confirmed before work begins.

  • No. Travel is not included unless expressly stated. If a face-to-face assessment, visit or meeting is required, we will confirm any travel cost before booking.

  • Urgent appointments, fast-turnaround reports or short-notice professional attendance may carry an additional fee. We will confirm this before work begins.

  • Yes. We will confirm the service, price, VAT, travel costs where applicable, payment arrangements and expected timescale before work begins.

  • Mental capacity is decision-specific. Different decisions can require different relevant information, different legal tests, different case law considerations and separate professional reasoning.

For example, capacity to manage property and financial affairs is not the same as capacity to make a will, capacity to conduct proceedings, capacity to make a gift, capacity to marry, or capacity to decide where to live. Each decision may need to be assessed separately and may require a separate report or separate section within a report, depending on the instruction and purpose.

If more than one decision needs to be assessed, the case may require a dual assessment, enhanced assessment or separate instruction. We will confirm the most appropriate approach before work begins.

  • Yes. We work with individuals, families, solicitors, deputies, attorneys, local authorities, NHS professionals and other professional referrers across England and Wales.

  • Remote assessments may be appropriate in some cases, depending on the person, the decision being assessed, the evidence required and the professional judgement of the assessor. Some cases may require a face-to-face appointment.

  • Contact us as soon as possible. We will review the enquiry and help identify the most appropriate service. If the scope changes, we will explain this clearly before work continues.

  • No. We cannot guarantee how a court, NHS body, public body or decision-maker will treat an individual report or piece of evidence. Our role is to provide structured, professional and evidence-led assessment, reporting or support within the scope of the instruction.
