We listen
A real person reads your enquiry and calls or emails you back, usually within one working day.

We advise
We identify the right assessment, the evidence needed and the report format for your situation, with no obligation.

We book
You receive a fixed quote, and once instructed the assessment is arranged at a time and place that suits the person.
Why choose Nellie Supports
Families and professionals come to us for different reasons. Both matter.
For families
Worried about a parent, partner or someone you support? Start with a conversation, not a form. We will explain what is possible in plain English.
For solicitors, deputies and professionals
Send your instruction or query and we will confirm approach, fee and turnaround for your file, usually within one working day.
Quick answers before you get in touch
How quickly can an assessment happen?
Our standard turnaround is 5 working days from visit to report. If there is a court deadline or the matter is urgent, tell us when you contact us and we will prioritise triage.
Who will contact me back?
A member of our permanent, employed team, not a call centre. If your enquiry needs a specific professional, a social worker, psychologist or mental capacity assessor, we will match it before we respond.
Do you cover my area?
We work across England and Wales, visiting the person at home, in a care home or in hospital, with remote assessment available where it is appropriate for the person and the decision.
Nellie Supports provides independent social work assessment, evidence and advocacy support. We do not provide regulated legal advice, and where a legal remedy is needed we will say so and support your solicitor's work. Contacting us does not create a professional relationship.
Written and reviewed by the Nellie Supports team.
