Independent social care support brings together the person's needs, wishes and circumstances so that care decisions lead to a clear, workable plan.
You may be arranging support for the first time, responding to a change in someone's needs or trying to make an existing care package work better. We help you understand the situation, identify priorities and agree what should happen next.
Choose a one-off assessment or review, help finding and arranging care, or ongoing case management through Nellie+. We can work with the person, those close to them and the professionals involved, within the scope of the agreed instruction.
Independent input alongside existing services
We can work alongside local authority, health and care professionals. Our role and the decisions we are being asked to support are agreed at the outset; arranging independent support does not itself secure public funding or a particular care placement.

What is Nellie+ case management?
Nellie+ is our subscription service for ongoing social care input. It can support care coordination, communication and review within an agreed package.
Can you review a care package that is already in place?
Yes. An independent care review can consider whether current arrangements are meeting the person's needs and identify priorities for discussion or change.
Can families, attorneys and deputies instruct you?
Yes. We work with individuals, families, attorneys, deputies and other professionals. We clarify who is instructing, the purpose of the work and arrangements for involving the person and sharing information.
Does this replace local authority or NHS support?
Independent input can sit alongside existing services. We clarify our role at the outset. Our assessment or involvement does not itself guarantee public funding, eligibility or a particular placement.
Is a social care assessment the same as a court report?
The purpose and scope are different. If you need evidence for proceedings, tell us at the start so that the appropriate report service, questions and requirements can be agreed.
How much does social care support cost?
The cost depends on the scope of the work and whether you need a defined task or ongoing support. We explain the proposed work and fees before you proceed. Contact us for a quotation or to discuss Nellie+ options.
