Where we work
Nationwide social work services across England and Wales
Since 2019 our multidisciplinary team has worked nationwide for families, solicitors, professional deputies and local authorities. Whether you are in Cornwall or Cumbria, Cardiff or Cambridge, the assessment, the standard and the fee are the same.
We travel to the person. Assessments take place at home, in a care setting, in hospital, or wherever suits, across England and Wales.

What national coverage actually means
We do not claim an office in every town. We travel to the person, across the whole of England and Wales, and the standard does not change with the postcode.
Our head office is in Grantham, with administrative offices elsewhere in England and Wales. None of them are assessment centres and none are open to the public. We travel to the person instead, which is the right way round: an assessment carried out where someone lives tells you more than one carried out in an unfamiliar building.
That applies across the whole of England and Wales, with no radius limit and no referral restrictions. Travel is charged at £40 per hour and confirmed in writing with the fee before anything is booked, so distance changes the cost but never the standard.

Our national coverage does not depend on claiming an office in every town or city. The head office in Grantham is where the practice is run from; the others are administrative and none are open to the public.

No geographic limits, no referral restrictions
How a visit is arranged, wherever you are.
We do not operate a catchment area or a panel. Any instruction in England or Wales is allocated to a practitioner employed by the practice, and the same report structure, peer review and turnaround apply whether the visit is twenty minutes away or two hundred miles.
Remote assessment by secure video is available where it suits the person and the decision. Where it does not, we say so, because some assessments need to be done in the room.
